How it all started

For Beaucroft, the journey began in Cambridge with a simple ambition: to create mechanical watches that combine thoughtful British design, exceptional everyday wearability and an emotional connection that lasts long after the first time they're worn. Founded by two friends Matt Herd and Karim Faisali who blended their complementary skills with a shared ambition, which Beaucroft has realised over the years.
Today, Beaucroft has a reputation for creating beautifully proportioned watches that value substance over spectacle and has become firmly recognised as one of Britain’s fastest growing brands.

Every watch collection reflects a philosophy of purposeful design, where every line, curve and finish exists for a reason - and every watch is designed to become part of its owner's story.

Today, that philosophy continues to guide a growing collection of watches, each representing a new chapter in Beaucroft's evolution and their collectors’ own stories, while remaining unmistakably true to the brand's identity.
Inspired by Cambridge

Cambridge is a city where history and innovation exist side by side. Medieval colleges stand alongside world-leading science and engineering, creating an environment where craftsmanship and forward thinking naturally co-exist.
That balance has become central to Beaucroft's design language.

The architectural harmony of the city's buildings, the precision of engineering and the culture of innovation all influence the watches the brand creates. Rather than drawing inspiration from a single historical style, Beaucroft seeks to capture the feeling of timeless design by creating watches that feel contemporary today but promising to remain relevant decades into the future.
Purpose before decoration
Matt Herd's background in industrial product design has shaped every Beaucroft watch from the very beginning. Each watch starts not with decoration, but with purpose. Proportions are refined to achieve comfort across a wide variety of wrist sizes. Case architecture is carefully sculpted to create flowing lines from lug to lug. Dial layouts are balanced for clarity, while layered textures and finishing create visual depth without unnecessary complexity.

These are details many owners may never consciously notice, yet they are precisely what make a watch feel so natural on the wrist.
The goal has always been to create watches that quietly reward long-term ownership rather than demand immediate attention.
A collection that has grown with the brand
Beaucroft's journey can be traced through its collections, each representing a step forward in both design and ambition. The Signature established the foundations of the brand, introducing clean proportions, elegant detailing and a distinctly British design language that continues to influence every watch produced today.
The Seeker followed, bringing a more relaxed, everyday character while maintaining the same attention to proportion and refinement. Its compact dimensions, colourful dials and approachable design introduced Beaucroft to a wider community of collectors and demonstrated that everyday watches could still possess distinctive personality.
The launch of the Element 39.5 marked another significant milestone. Conceived as the ultimate "go anywhere, do anything" sports watch, Element blends robust engineering with refined aesthetics, equally at home in the office, on the coast or travelling further afield. With expressive dial colours including Ocean Blue, Forest Green, Temper Red and Sunset Orange, alongside the popular Rebel Black edition, Element has become one of the defining collections within the Beaucroft range. It perfectly captures the brand's philosophy that versatility should never come at the expense of elegance.
Most recently, Beaucroft has continued to expand its horizons with the introduction of the Contour GMT—its first GMT collection. Rather than relying on oversized bezels or overtly technical styling, Contour GMT takes a cleaner, more architectural approach to the traveller's watch. Powered by a true GMT movement, it combines practical functionality with the flowing case geometry and refined proportions that have become hallmarks of the brand.
Alongside it came the Solaris GMT, a limited edition created in collaboration with Time+Tide. Inspired by the movement of the sun across different time zones, Solaris demonstrates Beaucroft's growing confidence in colour, texture and storytelling while remaining unmistakably rooted in the brand's understated design philosophy. Limited to just 200 pieces and assembled in Great Britain, it represents another exciting milestone in Beaucroft's evolution.
The latest addition, The Arc, continues that journey. While evolving the visual language with beautifully graduated fumé dials and softer case architecture, it remains immediately recognisable as a Beaucroft watch. It is perhaps the clearest example yet of how the brand continues to refine rather than reinvent—building naturally upon everything that came before.
Created for FounderFest in partnership with Time+Tide, “The Punk” took Beaucroft’s signature 38mm Arc and turned it up to 11 — with a scratch-resistant black PVD-coated case, translucent pink-tinted sapphire dial and matching sapphire exhibition caseback.
Made in Great Britain

One of the most important milestones in Beaucroft’s journey has been bringing hand assembly and regulation to Great Britain.
By assembling and caring for its watches in-house, Beaucroft can maintain a closer connection with every timepiece that leaves the workshop, from initial assembly through to servicing and long-term ownership.
Looking ahead

Beaucroft’s future is about thoughtful evolution by developing new designs and complications while staying true to the principles that have defined the brand from the beginning: purposeful design, everyday wearability and lasting quality.

As the brand continues to grow, the ambition remains the same: to create distinctive British mechanical watches that feel relevant today and endure for years to come.
